About Woofland:
Woofland is a leading dog daycare and boarding facility offering a loving, safe, and enriching environment for dogs. We’re currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic team member to join us as a Regular Dog Handler.

Position Overview – Dog Handler:
This role involves the daily care and supervision of dogs, ensuring their safety, happiness, and wellbeing. You’ll also assist with feeding, exercising, basic washing, and maintaining a clean and organised facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for both small and large dogs, including feeding, exercising, and ensuring their safety

• Perform basic dog washing (note: not professional grooming)

• Monitor dog behaviour and wellbeing, responding appropriately

• Keep the facility clean and tidy, including waste cleanup

• Assist with dog check-in and check-out procedures

• Communicate clearly with team members and dog owners
   

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine love for dogs and dedication to their care

• Confidence in working with dogs of all sizes

• Basic dog washing skills to return dogs clean to their owners

• Previous dog care experience preferred but not essential

• Reliability, flexibility, and a positive, team-focused attitude

• Basic verbal and written communication skills

• A valid work permit and full NZ driver’s licence
